Looking for some winter warmer vibes? Well, look no further than Newcastle city centre’s latest winter tipi bar, Lazy Bear.
Prepare for cosy blankets, fire pits, plenty of comfy seating, mulled wine and much more at Newcastle’s newest festive pop up, which launched this weekend, on Friday, November 4.

Lazy Bear is serving up a seasonal drinks menu including spectacular hot chocolates, mulled wine and cider along with a full bar, teas & coffees and soft drinks.
A specially made ‘Lazy Bear Spiced Gin’, made in collaboration with the acclaimed North East distillery - Poetic License - will also be on offer.
Alongside the extensive drinks menu will be a range of delicious foods to try, including pies from award-winning pie extraordinaire – Pieminister. Lazy Bear will be pairing its festive drinks with a selection of Pieminister’s popular favourites and a special Christmas menu which will kick off in December.

During December, a Christmas event programme will be running every Saturday. Lazy Bear will be transformed into Santa’s Grotto as guests are welcomed by Santa’s elves to enjoy a morning of fun and surprises. There will be games, goodie bags and the opportunity to meet Santa himself.
Lazy Bear is walk-in only, opening daily from 12pm – Midnight closing at 11pm on Sundays. The Lazy Bear coffee hut will be open from 8am for takeaway only. Bookings for December’s Santa’s Grotto will open on Monday, November 7 – please visit wearelazybear.com for more information.
