Theatre lovers will enjoy this next event, taking place at the Live Theatre in Newcastle. Rowan McCabe will tell his story of his door to door poetry, which he started before the pandemic.
The show is a mixture of spoken word and theatre, telling the story of McCabe’s travels around the North East, having knocked on people’s doors and written poems about it. The show asks the question, can we trust strangers?

This event will take place on February 2.
One final event for theatre lovers, the Scottish Ballet’s The Nutcracker, is coming to the Theatre Royal.
This classic tale tells the story of Clara’s journey through the worlds of her imagination as she falls asleep on Christmas Eve. The show will include choreography by Scottish Ballet founder Peter Darrell and live music performed by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra.
