The event is split into ticketed afternoon and evening sessions with the first taking place from noon until 5.30pm and the second from 6pm to 11pm.

The best Irish bars across Newcastle

Tyneside has really leaned into the Irish Bar trend over the last few years and a series of spots are now open across the city.

One of the newest options of Katie O’Brien’s on Collingwood Street while The Dubliner on the Quayside is a popular spot throughout the year.

Tyneside Irish Centre

Elsewhere in the city, Tyneside Irish Centre will be the base for many people across the weekend. The site on Gallowgate is hosting a family fun day on Sunday, March 15 in addition to an Irish dance event on the previous night.

The day itself will see traditional music and special guests, with tickets available through the venue’s website.
