This summer is set to be a big one for music fans in the North East. In addition to festivals such as Hardwick Festival and Mouth Of The Tyne, headline sets will come from Beyonce and Pink in Sunderland while Sam Fender will play two nights at St James Park – and there is plenty more to keep an eye on too.
At the start of July pop-rock singer Tom Grennan will return to the North East as part of an evening of entertainment at Newcastle Racecourse. The event, set to take place on Saturday, July 1 will be Grennan’s first show in the North East since his March 2023 was moved to the Utilita Arena due to amazing demand for tickets.
The show is expected to start after a full afternoon of racing which will include the hotly anticipated Northumberland Plate with day tickets for the racing including access to the set in the evening. Full day tickets start from £40.50 and includes access to all the day’s racing action and the gig.
Tickets are available to buy from the racecourse’s official website.
Grennan already has two full length albums under his belt and the Newcastle date will see him play songs from his third album, named ‘What Ifs and Maybes,’ which will be released on Friday, June 16.
Gates for the day will open at 11am. The first race will start at 1:50pm with the final race starting at 5:55pm.
