Food hygiene ratings given to 10 Gateshead establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of Gateshead’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: DAC Cafe at The Dunston Activity Centre, Ellison Road, Dunston, Gateshead; rated on September 8

• Rated 5: Riverside Delight at 6 Ravensworth View, Dunston, Gateshead; rated on September 8

• Rated 5: Sorella Sorella at Streetgate, Sunniside, Tyne And Wear; rated on September 8

• Rated 5: Springwell Community Hub at Springwell Community Centre, Lanchester Avenue, Springwell Estate, Gateshead; rated on September 8

• Rated 5: The Nest Cafe & Community Rooms at 417 Durham Road, Low Fell, Gateshead; rated on September 8

• Rated 5: Big Lukes World Buffet at Lower Yellow Mall, Metrocentre, Gateshead; rated on August 25

• Rated 5: Cafe Meo's at The Watermark, Metro Centre, Gateshead; rated on August 25
