Food hygiene ratings given to 12 Gateshead establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 12 of Gateshead’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Crawcrook Tandoori at 17-19 Main Street, Crawcrook, Ryton; rated on September 28

• Rated 5: Kingy's Cakes at Derwent House, Station Road, Rowlands Gill Central, Rowlands Gill; rated on September 28

• Rated 5: Fed and Watered at Middle Hedgefield Farm, Stella Road, Ryton, Blaydon On Tyne; rated on September 26

• Rated 5: SRMC at Strathmore Road, Rowlands Gill, Gateshead; rated on September 26

• Rated 5: Gwarn Jerk at 92 High Street, Felling Central, Felling; rated on September 22

• Rated 5: Cafe Shrub at Land Of Oak And Iron Heritage Centre, Spa Well Road, Winlaton Mill, Blaydon; rated on September 8
