Food hygiene ratings given to two Gateshead restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

DOT Bagels, at Hillgate Quay, East Gateshead, Gateshead was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 15.

And Meat:stack, at Hillgate Quay was also given a score of four on July 15.

It means that of Gateshead's 255 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 191 (75%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
