Food hygiene ratings given to two Gateshead takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

We Wings incl We 'R' Burgers 'N' Wraps, at 18 Durham Road, Gateshead was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 15.

And Inferno Italian Takeaway, at 85 High Street, Felling Central, Felling was given a score of one on February 15.

It means that of Gateshead's 202 takeaways with ratings, 121 (60%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
