Food hygiene ratings given to two Gateshead takeaways

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Golden Garden, at 112 Sheriffs Highway, Sheriff Hill, Gateshead was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 7.

And Park Lane Chinese Take Away, at 35 Wetheral Gardens, Beacon Lough, Gateshead was also given a score of four on March 7.

It means that of Gateshead's 201 takeaways with ratings, 121 (60%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
