A Gateshead restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Lean Cuisine, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 10 Team Valley Shopping Village, Kingsway North, Team Valley, Gateshead was given the maximum score after assessment on May 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 249 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 198 (80%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
