A Gateshead restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Gateshead restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Zucchini Pasta Bar, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 42a Garden Walk, Metro Centre, Whickham was given the score after assessment on June 15, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 252 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 189 (75%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
