A Gateshead restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Gateshead restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Primavera, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 409 Durham Road, Gateshead, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on December 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 262 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 209 (80%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
