A Gateshead restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Le Olive Verdi, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at First Floor Pelaw Inn, Shields Road, Felling, Gateshead was given the score after assessment on October 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 245 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 202 (82%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
