Gateshead restaurant handed new food hygiene rating

A Gateshead restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Oli and Joes, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 34-36 Front Street, Whickham, Gateshead was given the score after assessment on July 21, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 257 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 193 (75%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
