A Gateshead restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Muffin Break, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 42 Garden Walk, Metrocentre, Gateshead was given the score after assessment on November 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 261 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 208 (80%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
