Gateshead takeaway given new food hygiene rating

A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Santos, a takeaway at 228 Durham Road, Gateshead, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on February 22, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 192 takeaways with ratings, 114 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
