A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Moti Jheel, a takeaway at Front Street, Whickham, Gateshead was given the score after assessment on March 31, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 192 takeaways with ratings, 113 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
