A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Angel Fish Bar, a takeaway at 717 Durham Road, Gateshead was given the score after assessment on May 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 199 takeaways with ratings, 115 (58%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
