A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Oh My Cod, a takeaway at 15 Clavering Road, Bleach Green, Blaydon was given the score after assessment on January 31, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 202 takeaways with ratings, 121 (60%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
