A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Ming Kitchen, a takeaway at 567 Durham Road, Low Fell, Gateshead was given the score after assessment on March 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 202 takeaways with ratings, 121 (60%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
