A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Dominic's Italian Takeaway, a takeaway at Unit 3 Green Lane Buildings, Green Lane Industrial Estate, Pelaw, Gateshead was given the score after assessment on November 29, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 196 takeaways with ratings, 122 (62%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
