A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Pizza Bite, a takeaway at 115 Split Crow Road, Gateshead, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on May 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 194 takeaways with ratings, 115 (59%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
