A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Dragon Inn, a takeaway at 182 Saltwell Road, Gateshead, Tyne And Wear was given the score after assessment on August 10, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 198 takeaways with ratings, 124 (63%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
