A Gateshead takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Itzza Pizza, a takeaway at 527 Durham Road, Low Fell, Gateshead was given the score after assessment on September 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Gateshead's 199 takeaways with ratings, 125 (63%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
