New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Gateshead’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

• Rated 5: Branches Out of School Limited at The Winlaton Centre, North Street, Winlaton, Blaydon; rated on November 15

• Rated 5: Clip n Climb Metro at 39 Garden Walk, Metro Centre, Whickham; rated on November 8

• Rated 5: Costa Coffee (Green Mall) at 34a Cameron Walk, Metrocentre, Gateshead; rated on November 8

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: Ryton Golf Club at Doctors Stanners, Clara Vale, Ryton; rated on November 15
