Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to two Gateshead restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Felling Bingo, at Victoria Square, Felling Central, Felling Gateshead was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 21.

And The Fed, at Lancaster Road, Dunston, Gateshead was also given a score of five on October 13.

It means that of Gateshead's 267 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 211 (79%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
