Good news as food hygiene ratings handed to two Gateshead establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Ye Olde Cross, a pub, bar or nightclub at Ryton Village, Ryton, Tyne And Wear was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 10.

And Orangery Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Whickham Community Centre, Front Street, Whickham, Newcastle Upon Tyne was also given a score of five on May 10.
