New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Feel Well Deli, at Former Boules Court, Baltic Business Quarter, Abbot'S Hill was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 19.

And Feel Well Deli, at Riga Building, Abbot'S Hill, Gateshead was also given a score of five on July 19.

It means that of Gateshead's 247 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 199 (81%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
