Food hygiene ratings given to six Newcastle establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of Newcastle’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Mandrake Lounge at 125 - 127 Osborne Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on September 8

• Rated 5: Kwai Feh at Unit 4 Branton South Brunton Drive, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on September 7

• Rated 5: Victors at Gusto 106 Quayside, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on September 5

• Rated 5: Little Connies Kitchen at 1b Rokeby Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on August 26

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: The Bear and Barrel at 8 Hillhead Parkway Shopping Centre, Chapel House, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on August 25
