Food hygiene ratings handed to nine Newcastle establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Newcastle’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Grey owl at 94 - 96 Grey Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on August 21

• Rated 5: Brunton Park Tandoori Takeaway at 19 Princes Road, Brunton Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on August 15

• Rated 5: Brinkburn St. Brewery Bar & Kitchen at 1 Ford Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on August 5

• Rated 4: Acorn Chop Suey at 1 Acorn Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on July 8

Pubs, bars and nightclubs
