New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Newcastle’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Newcastle’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: Paninis at 7 Red Hall Drive, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on May 28

• Rated 3: Bigger Phil'lers Deli at Bigger Phillers Deli 391 Benton Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on May 28

• Rated 2: Poppys Takeaway at Poppys Takeaway Unit 10 Wingrove House Ponteland Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on May 28

• Rated 2: Vincenzos at 16 Addycombe Terrace, Newcastle Upon Tyne; rated on May 27

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
