Alfie's, at 2 - 4 Argyle Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 22.

And Pleased To Meet You, at 41 - 51 High Bridge, Newcastle Upon Tyne was also given a score of four on May 22.

It means that of Newcastle's 272 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 236 (87%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
