A Newcastle drinking establishment has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Charles Grey, a pub, bar or nightclub at 118 Grey Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on December 16, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 277 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 241 (87%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
