A Newcastle restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Newcastle restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Bar Loco, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Bar Loco 22 - 24 Leazes Park Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on February 9, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 655 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 467 (71%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
