Newcastle restaurant given new food hygiene rating

A Newcastle restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Alley no. 3, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 3 Leazes Lane, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on October 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 671 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 494 (74%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
