A Newcastle restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Solstice by Kenny Atkinson, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 5 - 7 Side, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on November 16, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 683 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 495 (72%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
