A Newcastle restaurant has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Gosforth Flame, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 207 High Street, Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on February 6, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 679 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 489 (72%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
