Newcastle restaurant handed new food hygiene rating

A Newcastle restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Newcastle restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Costa, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 105 Northumberland Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on January 23, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 678 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 491 (72%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
