A Newcastle restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Chai Nasta, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at The Beacon Westgate Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on July 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 661 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 491 (74%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
