A Newcastle restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Cake Stories, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Cake Stories Hoults Estate Walker Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on December 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 672 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 478 (71%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
