A Newcastle takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

My Fry, a takeaway at 261 Whickham View, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on October 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 310 takeaways with ratings, 197 (64%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
