A Newcastle takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Al Tiffin Ltd, a takeaway at 44 The Burnside, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on February 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 314 takeaways with ratings, 197 (63%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
