A Newcastle takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Starbeck Deli, a takeaway at 7 - 9 Starbeck Avenue, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on May 25, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 308 takeaways with ratings, 196 (64%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
