A Newcastle takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

My Chinese, a takeaway at 1202 Walker Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on February 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 312 takeaways with ratings, 198 (63%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
