A Newcastle takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Walker Fisheries, a takeaway at 7 Saint Anthonys Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on April 21, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 303 takeaways with ratings, 196 (65%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
