A Newcastle takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Loki and Bean, a takeaway at Main Road Woolsington, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on October 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 311 takeaways with ratings, 189 (61%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
