Newcastle takeaway handed new food hygiene rating

A Newcastle takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Rao Balti House, a takeaway at Unit 13 Westerhope Small Business Park Redburn Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on July 11, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 309 takeaways with ratings, 199 (64%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
