A Newcastle takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Kimchi Planet, a takeaway at Claremont Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given the score after assessment on April 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Newcastle's 303 takeaways with ratings, 195 (64%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
