Food hygiene ratings given to two North Tyneside establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Meet Me On The Corner Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 45 Ilfracombe Gardens, Whitley Bay, Tyne And Wear was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 5.

And Backworth Colliery Bakery, a takeaway at Unit 2 Backworth Workshops, Backworth Business Park, Eccleston Close, Backworth was given a score of five on September 29.
