New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Spread Eagle Inn, a pub, bar or nightclub at Front Street, Preston, North Shields, Tyne And Wear was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 16.

And New Horizon Chop Suey House, a takeaway at 24 - 25 Grieves Row, Dudley, Northumberland was given a score of three on February 16.
